How to Choose a Pediatrician When Hoping to Adopt
Our Social Worker suggested that we start looking around at Pediatrician offices to prepare for when we match. It's a bit different going into a Peds office preparing for a child, when you have no idea when this will happen. I have to say, however, the office that we went to was very supportive! They even had a psychology department because mental health for children is a priority for them. We found this to be very comforting. They gave us a packet on everything from car seats to bathing to vaccine schedules. I know we will be in great hands when the time comes.
We would love to hear of great experiences you've had with your peds office or things to look out for. Feel free to email us at AandEadopt@gmail.com
